Real value in a company comes after the first two years are over. DIRECTV isn’t a value for their customers after the first two years. They will credit $30 off the first year and $15 the second year to make it seem like a good value, but after that, you will be paying some of the highest prices in satellite television. True DIRECTV does have more sports options, the NFL Sunday Ticket is o$300 a season, and when they decide to give it away to all the new customers like they did last year, guess what customers cover that? DIRECTV is a good short term value, but long term, is becomes a liability on your wallet. Even before I started working for DISH, I could see DISH was the better long term value just in the lack of big credits the first two years.
